Digital Tears: E-mail From Purgatory is MF Grimm’s second album under his Monsta Island Czars moniker Superstar Jet Jaguar. MF Grimm has the alias GM Grimm, for Grand Master Grimm. He stated in an interview that “Grand Master is a title that not everyone gets. Roc Raida and I were in a group and each of us were awarded that title. It’s a major honor in the Hip Hop community.”

Using the new GM Grimm alias, for this one release, Grimm delivers more of his trademark rhetoric supported by a relatively unknown cast, the only two ‘name’ features being J-Zone and Mr. Voodoo of Natural Elements. Recalling the more peripheral Wu Tang releases, Grimm’s barritone verse holds up for the whole second round.

Originally released in 2004 on Day By Day Entertainment and out of print for years, this is the official reissue.
