Black Chamber is a Portland, Oregon based trio that blends the improvisational sounds of modal jazz with the moods and rhythms of downtempo electronica and trip hop. With Brian McCauley on drums, Chris Gustafson on upright bass, and David Binnig anchoring the group on trumpet and samples, Black Chamber oozes a textured melancholy moodiness perfect for blunt sessions, road trips, or midnight meditations.
