“Corpses” is the second project release for The Foodchain, the first being a self titled 12 track EP that garnered the collective critical acclaim in it’s debut (Westword best new group 2009). In this, the Foodchain’s sophomore effort, a considerable evolution… or better yet… a wider revelation of the groups music talents can be seen. Inspired by a sound unique to Foodchain producer, Mass Prod alone, Corpses is a completely different effort in sound and inspiration, yet signaturely Foodchain. Deliberate in conception and lyrical savvy, complete with featured appearances by Talib Kweli, Rapper Big Pooh, Chaundon and Joe Scudda. Corpses is a one of a kind banger.
