HHB BRINGS IT TO YOU FIRST YET AGAIN!
This should be a must purchase for any Das Efx fan. Hell for any hip-hop fan for that matter. Drayz brings back that “iggidy” style we all loved from Das. There is a fad to label things “boom bap”, but this is true to the name. DJ Rondevu does a great job bringing that old school feel to the entire disc. There is only a couple of features in Smif n Wessun (Tek n Steele aka Cocoa Brovaz) and Fredro Starr (Onyx). Drayz took hold of this one and if your going to do a “solo” CD, no need to clutter it with features on every track. Some additional great news came from track 08. Drayz confirms in the second intro (?) that Das Efx is in deed still working on a new CD!!!
Most of the tracks are everything you would expect from half of Das Efx. While Drayz does a great job here, you cant help but feel Skoob (Books in reverse!) was and is a perfect compliment to Drayz. The disc takes a few tracks to get going. The first few tracks are good but nothing special. However, by track 4 you find yourself nodding out to the grimy beat and the lyrical style you expect from Drayz. The disc just takes off from here. Almost every track after is just dirty. Great disc, well worth a purchase.
