“Hard to believe it’s already been five years, this November, since East released his debut album, The Right Direction, via Rawkus Records and their Rawkus 50 campaign. He partnered up with producer & childhood friend Analogic to craft 10 glorious tracks of unfiltered Hip-Hop. Care to know a nice little piece of trivia? Well, The Right Direction was not their first project together. Back in 2005, East & Analogic (then going by the name Optimus) put together an 8 song EP titled The Beginning… under the moniker O.N.E. (Only Number Expected or Optimus-n-East). They both hadn’t been at recording or producing long, so it’s a little raw, but dope nonetheless!
