Adversaree & Eshbeats are back at it, again, with their new EP, Hood Novel!!! You’ll remember the duo brought you TungUvMachettes: Mouf’ Uv Madness which was a combination of an album and mix tape (2004). This time around, they bring to you 9 tracks (8 vocals) of an array of verbal scenarios over banging drums and smoothed out samples from Esh. Esh has worked with the likes of the Toronto-based crew CampX (home crew), Wio-K, Ken Masters, as well as others, and has been making beats since 1999. Adversaree is part of CampX and has worked with the likes of CampX memeber DJ Grouch of Turnstylez (D-Scratch & Lil Jazz), Collizhun (Tough Dumplin Records), Lord Quest (producer/rapper/UnlikelyHeroes), Phat Tony (CampX/producer/TUM2), as well as others. Hood Novel is simply an open lyrical book dipped in the theme of everyday living in the hood. It’s funny, it’s serious but it’s music to enjoy.
