Matt Schad aka Schadillac is an Austin beatsmith that has laced loops for local staples such as the League of Extraordinary G’z and Dred Skott. Today, he has released a brand new 9-track beat tape entitled “Isles”, which spotlights Schadillac’s excellent ear for samples and love for the organic side of production, while sampling sounds and grooves from far-off foreign lands. For those that can’t stand when a record is overly produced, Schadillac has a knack for leaving the dust on the EQ and letting the 45s ride from where they came from.
