Project Manzu was born in 2005 when members Daimajin aka Q8 aka Daimassassin and Divine Souljah aka Shock One decided to join forces. Having known each others since 1992, their chemistry on the mic was immediate. They also share genuine love for hip hop especially the Wu-Tang movement.
Project Manzu is like a dream come true for the duo. They’ ve enlisted Wu-Element Bronze Nazareth to produce the entire album and they were able to score collaborations with Wu-Tang affiliates Solomon Childs, Timbo King, 12 O’Clock, Darkim Be Allah, Blue Raspberry, Napoleon and Kevlaar 7.
Project Manzu embodies a strong message which can be summed up by four words: Peace, Love, Respect and Music
